Space and Aeronautics Technology (SAT) Division

J&T’s SAT Division is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The group specializes in advanced Research and Development applications and technology demonstrations of one-of-a-kind space and communications systems. Our core expertise is in systems engineering and design; integration, developmental and operational test and evaluation; fabrication and assembly; and operations of technical facilities. The SAT Division maintains a technical and administrative staff. The Albuquerque office also houses a visual communications department focusing on computer graphics, layout and design, digital video/photo production, illustration and desktop publishing.

J&T’s expertise in Integration and Test (I&T) spans the full range of hardware development at the component, subsystem, and system levels. We have substantial experience in developing mission requirements, and hardware and mission performance analyses and prediction. Our mission support services include end-to-end testing, training and rehearsals, and mission control center support for ground, near-space, high-altitude balloon, and space systems. We operate Government and J&T manufacturing facilities that allow other government and commercial work.

Major SAT Division customers include the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/VS), Space and Missile Systems Center Det 12 Space Test Program (SMC Det 12/ST), Det 1 and Hqs, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC), and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
